@DalveyG really makes you think how jamaica is going to import criminals from the US for free, while we have a literal gold mine next to us in highly capable individuals with a lot of motivation to participate in the economy and help their families back home.
@DalveyG For a cuban to legally work in ja, they need to either have a work permit, permanent residency or citizenship (in order of complexity and time dealing with paperwork). in any of those processes they have to go through a huge amount of hurdles set by the jamaican govt.
@DalveyG The main issue here is the enormous amount of red tape cubans have to go through to even set foot in Jamaica, let alone have an opportunity to legally work here (talking about individual cubans, not govt sponsored workers)
