Excited to share our new work, "Developmental deviations of association-network structural connectivity in youths with ADHD predict symptom and treatment outcomes", now out in Nat. Biomed. Eng. @natBME: https://t.co/DEKO3bbfWF! Congrats to @chocoxu0925 & Zhao.
It is an honor to be involved in this work, "Developmental benchmarks of executive function reveal sensitive periods for adolescent mental health", now out in
@NatMentHealth

How does executive function develop during adolescence—and when is it most closely linked to mental health? See our @NatureMentalHealth paper:Developmental Benchmarks of Executive Function Reveal Sensitive Periods for Adolescent Mental Health.

Thrilled to share CAP: The Creativity Assessment Platform. CAP is a free web-app with creativity tests and automated scoring.
App: https://t.co/vg8SSSFaQY
Paper: https://t.co/lLsCX2gBOB
We built CAP to make creativity testing easier and more reliable. Here's a quick tour.🧵
New paper: AI can generate creative ideas when prompted—but can it actually improve our own creativity? In 2 studies (total N = 36,752), we show AI can enhance human creativity through real-time feedback, helping people better evaluate their own ideas.

Our new paper advances the understanding of how the default mode and executive control network interact during creative thinking: they need to communicate (integration) but also remain independent (segragation). An balance between these two states may be optimal.
Five years in the making: our meta-analysis of 10 fMRI datasets across Asia, Europe & N America (N=2,433). We find creative ability emerges from dynamic switching between default and executive brain networks, with optimal creativity at a "sweet spot." https://t.co/0rmDcFhT9Y
We are so thrilled that our 10th annual meeting of SfNC will be taking place in Paris! Our theme, "Creativity and Changing Brains", is an exploration of how creativity influences and is shaped by changes in the brain. Abstracts are open until Jan 17th: https://t.co/CoVLsIGFDg
Honored to be recognized as a rising star creativity researcher and contribute to a SI in Creativity Research Journal reflecting on my past, current, and future research https://t.co/eulh5WUVp0
Join us in congratulating the receipts of 2024 SfNC Awards: Denis Dumas (Young Investigator Award), @TanushreeAgraw5 & Rachit Dubey (Dissertation Award), & @LucasBellaiche (Sarah A. Burgess Award). Bravo to these creativity scholars for their contribution to our discipline!
Our new theory paper, led by @JamesLloydCox, argues computational modeling would greatly benefit creativity research by making creativity theories more rigorous & testable. @APADivision10@ad_pickering

It's out now https://t.co/vGyt2YdQQw! Cross-species alignment based on the functional gradients using joint-embedding and revealed the evolutionary hierarchy.
Excellent paper @Roger_Beaty@yoed_kenett I read the paper in one sitting!!! It presents a comprehensive picture of the future of creativity from a semantic memory standpoint that gets to the essence of creativity.
1/ Associative thinking---connecting concepts to form ideas, inventions, and artworks---is at the heart of creativity.
In our new @TrendsCognSci review, @yoed_kenett and I explore how associative thinking works in the creative mind 🧵
It is a great honor for me to receive YIA from my favorite society SfNC @tsfnc and thanks to the SfNC Awards Committee. It's a pity I can not attend the 2023 annual meeting. Special thanks to @yoed_kenett@Roger_Beaty
Our new paper explores the personality structure in individuals with highly creative achievements. @Roger_Beaty@yoed_kenett@rmbilder
