@playrust People talk about optimisation like it's something that you can just switch on. Based on how the game handles up to 1000 concurrent players, the procgen and everything in between, I'd reckon the game is as optimised as it can be.
@CoconutBGaming 0 citations. Account looks suspiciously biased in the things it reports. Not saying there aren't side-effects, but this has 0 credibility
@thatkidwally All I want for Christmas is for streamers to take a small break from complaining about rust. It's very clear at this point how you all feel, it's just cringe to keep seeing all the complaints :( . I have a lot of love for you guys, but just chill for a month or so.
@thatkidwally Hire a financial advisor. Look for good reliable reviews. Look for one specialising in property investments and have them do the legwork.
@SpiicyRust The skill ceiling exists, it's just much lower. Unless you're using AK, winning fights against numbers is almost always not going to happen.
@2inks There has to be a mechanic that allows one person an opportunity to improve their skill on that gives a chance against superior numbers, there has to be motivation for people to leave their base.
@2inks I think the fundamental issues that need most attention are the ever lowering skill ceiling and the fact that everything is behind a scrap wall. Boots on the ground are non-existent, people don't want or need to leave their base.
@2inks I don't disagree with anything you said here. I genuinely think all of this would improve gameplay, but I think asking for such a volume of changes all in one go is not practical.
@qaixxxx I wasn't even good on the old recoil system, but objectively gun fights felt more exciting and outnumbered fight outcomes were more variable. Now regardless of skill, gunfights are won by numbers the majority of the time.
@qaixxxx Couldn't agree more. Gameplay feels stale, no one engages in any fighting. Everyone rushes T3 on wipe day, then they sit on base roofcamping until raided. Only fights on the ground are prim kids with DBs and crossbows 90% of the time.
@discord Download api endpoint is throwing 500 error. I'm guessing the desktop app hits the same api endpoint when it does the update check on start. Any idea on time to resolution?
