@ABC7 Thank goodness the team was able to get this under control. Let’s not forget another runaway exothermic reaction at an industrial plant that had a much worse outcome back in December 1984. https://t.co/scEpvIfiiZ
@eyeheartcomics@OCFireAuthority You might find this website helpful…realtime predictions on the MMA propagation from Garden Grove based on actual windspeed and direction: https://t.co/NFNVqnohG5
@eyeheartcomics@OCFireAuthority I also have the same question. The current model shows the plume blowing directly north toward BP, Fullerton, La Habra, and La Mirada.
Amazed at how busy the west coast launch calendar has gotten over the last few years. @SpaceX put on another great light show tonight (loved the “Saturn” hanging in the sky post launch) @ABC7@NBCLA@CBSLosAngeles@DJSnM@NASASpaceflight

@NASASpaceflight No reentry NOTAM posted as of yet, but there is a reentry opportunity for the primary splashdown zone off of Southern California around 19:45 local today.
@jeff_foust Pretty cool to hear that @NASA actually used the Mastcam on Curiosity to try to image MAVEN (though it wasn’t seen where it was expected to be) https://t.co/2uqEWxNUrK
@jeff_foust DSN can’t hear MAVEN (except the data frame on 12/6). But can Perseverance or Curiosity hear MAVEN on the surface?
Also: Could the Perseverance or Curiosity teams use cameras on the rovers to create a timelapse of MAVEN during a nighttime visible pass to determine its new orbit?
