@DiMartinoBooth I gotta ask: What do you think of those treating UST's like stocks? 'If we buy UST now and rates drop, UST's reprice instantly and we're up.' That's why 60/40 fails. They aren't bonds. They're rate-sensitive equities. Yet, one gets a yield and maturity will come.
@chigrl Never knew it was dinner. Stayed until we realized it was too dark to see each other. Rode bikes home anyways. Crashed occasionally. Survived. Ate and did homework. Later/rinse/repeat.
@porterstansb Remember when bonds were bought for the interest it generated until the capital was returned? Price devastation yes, income and return - not so much. Who does that chart hurt?
