Had codex pull together a Morris/Ruskin reader on factories for reading today. Illuminating! For Morris, in a positive sense, labor should be about hope: for rest, for the creation of product, for enjoying the work itself. Factories should enable this. Sadly I think the answer to your question is quite ugly
I remember when this first came out I instantly felt the cringe. The cringe was cynical. In reality, these folks know their job, know what other people's jobs are (and celebrate it!), how they can help them, and know how it all works together to making their organization successful. As a builder/engineer I want to work with good folks like this! Impressive.
... the past few days I've been experimenting with a SDD style workflow that maintains an architecure definition in markdown OKF leveraging some c4 and ISO quality concepts. Already got something working that shows a lot of promise, but working on refactoring to use something like SysMLv2 to avoid NIH syndrome. @addymakes@aarondfrancis my experimental theory was that AI would make such an approach accessible/affordable. I was right - it brings it within reach. However, in practice these quality requirements need to be co-located with the architecure specification. One big bang file has too many problems.
