26 years ago today I made my Olympic debut (and bow) this fantastic picture by Tony Marshall almost makes me look like a hurdler. That proved to be my last race, not a bad way to bow out. For those that can, enjoy the journey you never know how it will turn out

@daviesGDD Great piece. 👏🏼. My experience of junior cricket and to some degree football is that children are pigeon holed from an early age, eg same children open the batting every week. In my mind rotate the positions regularly, keeps everyone interested and we may even unearth a 💎
@Thekrisjones I agree, I worked full time throughout my athletic career, admittedly a desk job, I found they complimented each other. Took a bit of planning but I enjoyed the training all the more as a break from work.
