@sriramvasudevan @AirCanada How, in your mind, does the union benefit from raising prices? The extra monies would not go to the union but to lining executive pockets and funding stock buy-backs. It’s not like they hand over a portion of profits to the union if they raise prices.

@ForgivingNora @AirCanada The employees are the union, and the government has no real power to get them to go away. If you have employees, they have the right to organize themselves in a union. When you’re as terrible a boss as Air Canada, of course they’re going to unionize and stick with the union.
