Terfs claim that policing toilet use keeps women safe from male predators. They claim that cis women won’t get targeted by this policing, because they can “always tell.” So here are some real-life examples of toilet policing.
@VENTIlMPACT They think homophobes can’t just walk into a pride parade, and have to use *evil bi women* to infiltrate. They’re idiots who have probably never seen a pride parade.
@xamethystbatata@lasthomewrecker Honestly biphobes can have my wedding cake if they want it. I don’t. I’d trade it for the ability to have a long and safe life.
Not to be messy but why do y’all assume that bisexual women are going out of their way to date violently homophobic men… and also why would you assume that a queer person (bi women) would be safe with said man lmao. How does that make sense?
@InstantSunrise Are you going to make a version of this post about lesbians, gay men, bi men, trans people, straight allies, etc, that bring a straight friend to pride?? Or is the blame solely on bi women as usual?
I have literally never been to a pride parade that didn't have shitloads of straight people showing up. People bring straight friends and family, community members come to watch/support, it's a big party. And yet every year people take it upon themselves to scold bi women.
@somegrlsam We’re more likely to be sexually harassed/abused in the workplace, and more likely to experience sexual violence such as corrective rape. It doesn’t matter what you “think.”
I wish non bi people who have nothing good to say would just stay away from bisexual media and rep. Idgaf if you think a bi4bi book with an m/f couple is not queer. This book isn't for you and isn't about you.
@sapphicbook their bisexuality for the first time and learning how to navigate it, that’s a queer theme. If either of them gets told, “oh so you weren’t really gay you were just doing it for attention” that’s a queer theme. Queerness is not just having sex with the same sex.
@sapphicbook A book that explores queer themes is a queer book. If the male character receives comments like “why are you dating a woman don’t you like guys??” That’s a queer theme. If the woman gets slut shamed for “going both ways” that’s a queer theme. If either character is discovering
when im talking abt biphobic lesbians, i will say biphobic lesbians don't you worry. when im talking abt biphobic monosexuals i will say biphobic monosexuals. if im talking abt biphobic heteros i will say biphobic heteros. its very very simple.
