@dranok4ever@interesting_aIl "Sales people push it..."
In a lot of places, 1gbps is cheap as fuck. My parents are paying half what they were for a 12mbps DSL line now that fiber lines were brought into the neighborhood. There's literally no reason to not pursue putting fiber lines everywhere possible.
@CrankyHankJ@4Wahoo98242@Polymarket "connected them with spiritual care teams"
Hey, sorry we accidentally paralyzed you and made it so your quality of life and self-sufficiency is fucked for the rest of your life. Talk to this priest to convince you it's God's plan our third-world doctors fucked you.
Lol. Lmao.
@byebyefashy@TakingHisTime@lara_korte If she was a private journalist working for another company and the government went after her for her speech, that would be a 1st amendment violation. But she's technically employed by the government, and getting fired by your employer doesn't violate the 1st Amendment.
@Pirat_Nation RAM Companies: "You need to run Intel XMP or AMD EXPO to run your RAM at advertised speeds."
*RAM fails*
RAM Companies: "Running Intel XMP / AMD EXPO voided your warranty, so we're not letting you RMA your RAM."
It's actually a really shitty situation.
@ShitpostRock It's one of those situations where there's not a great translation solution. Pretty much everything involving honorifics is hard to translate, to the point it might just be better to keep them in. Games like Persona show the audience generally doesn't mind.
@skullbloc@melqtx There's no reason to run 300 agents in parallel cross-checking each other. It's a waste of time, energy, compute, and, most importantly, money. People using dozens of agents for tasks like this are placebo-ing themselves into spending vast amounts of money more than they need.
@elonmusk@mjboswell It's a little weird that the algorithm seems to immediately flood my timeline with a topic just because I clicked someones tweet just to see their entire post. Wouldn't it be better to keep some kind of engagement mesh network over a period of time and use that for the timeline?
@Bttlmnt_Rcrds@RohdeC94470@elonmusk It says right there that the examiner concluded that his heart failure was due to neck trauma despite the absence of injuries and the presence of fent and other drugs in his system.
Grok will defer to the examiner, but it's obvious the examiner was incorrect and/or biased.
@Oogalaboogalary@WholesomeMeme They don't mind, but unfortunately they all outsourced their recruiting to a firm that entirely automated the process, and your application will never even be seen by a real human.
@pipkinpippa So Flock is lauded for saving one child with their rampant surveillance. Meanwhile, when I backed up my car over someone in the process of abducting a child, I get criticized for not checking my mirrors and get charged with "reckless driving."
Make it make sense.
@PFZX03@Pirat_Nation The problem is Nintendo has a history of letting projects like this get near completion and then shutting them down. Until he releases it, there's always that risk. Once it's out there's nothing they can do, since it's out there and anyone can share it.
@ria_cheal While Subaru was livid at Anastasia for using him to get info on Crusch, she had given him as much, or more, information in return for it. Without her insight and information, he'd probably have to be RBD'd at least a few more times to figure out a path forward.
@noradhominem@mcsquared34 A lot of states and cities forbid giving such things to food pantries, selling it at a discount, or even giving it to employees because of health concerns.
It could easily be they're simply not allowed to do so.
@TheAAgent@iFightForKids You should look into TCAP's behind the scenes stuff. Hansen and his crew fucked up several cases as well. His over-aggression against that Texas DA who ended himself was what got TCAP (wrongfully) cancelled.
It comes with the territory.
@zepar202@UniMohdx It doesn't have to unless Valve made the change very recently. There's been at least a few games that did free grabs for a few days and then gone back to their original price.
@Grxit The problem is that they'd just use VPNs and pretend to be someone else. The only way to fix this is to disconnect the cables entirely and remove the subcontinent from the Internet.
@ndcomcn@XJosh That's an archive of multiple furry zoosadists discussing and posting evidence of their crimes that was part of a ~2018 investigation by members of the site. The evidence was used to put a few of them in jail, and one of them was disappeared by the Cuban gov't.
