@ashwinmahesh Fantastic and thank you for listing the relevant solutions to the issues we face with the minister, as a citizen am ready to participate and contribute .
Dear @krishnabgowda,
Sub: Building walkable streets & infrastructure
Congratulations on being appointed as the in-charge of Bengaluru. You have built a public image as an educated, upright, and honest leader, and many citizens look forward to seeing that reflected in the city's governance.
Having travelled across the world, you would have witnessed some of the finest examples of urban planning and governance. One common thread across developed cities is their commitment to people-centric infrastructure rather than motor-centric infrastructure.
Unfortunately, Bengaluru today remains largely devoid of safe, continuous, and WALKABLE FOOTPATHS. Instead, our streets are often marked by encroachments, garbage, construction debris, sand, and jelly stones. Children, senior citizens, and pedestrians are forced to share the road with fast-moving vehicles, putting their safety at risk every single day.
The true measure of a developed city is not the number of flyovers it builds, but the quality of its public spaces and the ease with which people can walk, cycle, and access their neighbourhoods safely. Our benchmark should not merely be Delhi or Mumbai, but the world's best cities that have embraced global best practices in urban design and liveability.
As you take charge, we hope pedestrian infrastructure, walkable streets, and public spaces receive the attention they deserve. A city built for people is a city built for the future.

@LiveWithRano@TVKVijayHQ It would be a great initiative to focus on what's happening on the ground level and addressing it asap, excellent idea of using technology to efficiently manage and collect feedback. Eagerly awaiting for such initiatives to happen. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
A simple principle of living needs to be taught to kids from an early age:
“leave a place in the same or better condition than you found it.”
Wipe the sink. Straighten the chair. Pick up the stray popcorn. Stay on the trail. Leave the forest as you found it.
If we follow this everywhere - from bathrooms to meeting rooms, cinema halls to earth itself, the world would be so much more beautiful.
@bhatnaturally Yes completely agree, every street every road looks like we are under perennial construction all the time, the roads are dug up for so many reasons, motorable roads become narrow, traffic snarls and chaos ensure, foot paths are broken ,pedestrians on the road, lives are at peril
@sharansetty2 Absolute disgrace, when every inch of Bangalore is suffering from basic infra issues, war going on, inflation rising impact on common man lives and they prioritise tickets.
@karnatakaportf Even J P Nagar and Jayanagar same story, we witness lots of political boards dangerously placed which can hurt the public and cause chaos
@blrcitytraffic@DCPSEBCP Sir request you to take action regarding wrong side driving , they are brazen and dangerous.
Post Covid this is the biggest issue we are facing on Bangalore roads.
@GBAChiefComm Sir please ask your team to check on civil works undertaken at 15th cross J P Nagar 5th phase, it has stifled the traffic movement and this road is prone to heavy traffic, incomplete civil work has led to chaos and snarls.
The location is opposite to Nandhini hotel

Growing one's savings cannot be a hobby. It has to be a serious pursuit. You need to do many things right. Avoiding mistakes is crucial. Quality advice is essential.
Discipline of a high order is compulsory. Review mechanisms must be regular.
Just knowing where to put money is all that people obsess over. In that obsession, they spend most of their time only scouting for names. This affects one's investing in so many ways we fail to realise.
Just look at the richest and iconic investors. You realise they hardly scout for names. Instead, they follow a regimen that constantly maintains focus on avoiding mistakes, maintaining discipline, showing patience, reviewing regularly and staying invested.
These are what most investors miss out on. What looks simple in investing is never easy. Most of the time, people are looking at all the wrong things or searching in the wrong places for them.
Doing only what you need to do is the toughest part of investing. Learning to focus on just that elevates one's investing.
That's my lifetime learning.
Markets will extract a heavy price if you check-in with your biases and ego. Be calm and patient. Never be in a hurry to make money. Always be focused on 'Margin of Safety '.
