Manifestation is real when you figure out who you are, and what you wanna do. just believe in yourself. even if whole world is against you and trying to pull you down. just devote your life to it like a maniac, like you're all in on this thing, like there are no other paths for you and you manifest the sh!t out of it. you gonna end up doing what you said you going to do and being who you said you gonna become. it's real.
Manifestation is real.
Sorry but as an autistic woman who's been in the work force since I was 18, this is a lie we tell to make ourselves feel better.
Neurotypicals LOVE poking at your shortcomings and oddities. They bond over gossip and negativity. The key is to just learn not to care what they think
The counterpoint to the male loneliness epidemic is the female grief epidemic.
You see it EVERYWHERE in the haunted eyes of women and girls, nearly all of us in mourning for the male friends, relatives, and sometimes romantic partners we’ve lost not to death, but to themselves.
As a trauma therapist, I’ve learned that “I don’t want to be a burden” is trauma speaking. Healthy people don’t feel like their existence is an imposition.
Because people who lack confidence think negatively about themselves all the time, they assume having confidence means thinking positively about yourself. The reality is that real confidence means not thinking about yourself at all.
Unhealed trauma will create issues in your mind that don't exist...especially if you've been hurt over and over. Remind yourself to stop looking for things that aren't there
Can’t wait for the “me me me” mental health discourse to finally advance to the absolutely necessary next step of taking accountability for how our unhealthy attachment styles harm others, in the form of learning to stop teaching people to expect abandonment at any given moment
Steam Sales are so beloved and looked forward to that we make memes about telling ourselves to NOT buy a bunch of games we know we won't play. Y'know, because we can actually afford them?
I will never accept people who say video games or anime etc are childish when some sports fans cause crimes when their teams lose cause some of them are overgrown toddlers throwing a tantrum 😭
this isn't about individualism btw, but about high agency. it is about initiating energy towards the kind of world you want to live in. everyone wants to hang out, but no one wants to initiate a hang out. the future is for self-starters, those who can embody the change they want to see in the world, no matter how small it starts .
my mom once told me "accountability will always feel like an attack when you are not ready to acknowledge how your behavior harms others" and that shit is real.
