@geowtfbruh @HayliNic It's usually around the iPhone release so august/September timeframe. One caveat is that they're adopting strictly the universal profile version of RCS and not googles version that most people are using. The main thing missing is E2E encryption I think

@HayliNic Spicy options- The Flip5 is great if you want to decrease phone usage or just be more intentional about using your phone. The Fold5 has a usable front display for most cases and opens to a mini tablet for reading or watching vidos. Pixel Fold is "the best foldable to use closed"

@HayliNic Both - the default texting app on both devices is Google messages which allows you to text via any computer or even an iPad via a web app. Both manufacturers have also committed to 7 years of full updates.
Said web app sometimes loses connection but a simple refresh fixes it

@geowtfbruh @HayliNic RCS will be added in the next iOS update! Messages with Android phones will probably be the same shade of green but read receipts, high res photos and videos, and adding/removing people from groups without creating a whole new thread will be supported
