We are all already in the process of migrating our Windows Mail account to the new Outlook or are planning to do so (of necessity).
It makes sense to "replace" one with the other, as the same service twice would be too time-consuming.

The question therefore arises whether it would be possible to specify the old UI as an option in the new Outlook settings?

However, the new Outlook feels like a step backward and I think many users will share this view.
Windows Mail looks much tidier and more compact.
A philosophy to which many users have become accustomed over the years.
