I started a Branding & Go-To-Market venture studio for SaaS & Tech Founders in around Q2 of 2025.
I didn't intend to start it as such but a UK-based Restaurant SaaS client wanted me to help him with his GTM strategy. Problem was, there was no brand/visual identity yet...
GojiberryAI just crossed $300k MRR.
Building GojiberryAI taught us something surprising.
Most AI startups never make it past $1k MRR.
A few scale to millions.
The difference usually isn't better features.
It's two simple things almost everyone underestimates.
If you're building an AI startup, this might save you months of trial and error.
To celebrate, we put together a free course breaking down exactly how we went from $0 to $4M ARR in under a year.
Comment GOJI and repost this post, and I'll DM you the course.
Don’t just build the app you need.
Build the app users actually want.
But if you only build for money, you’ll probably get bored during marketing, product, and iteration.
The best place to build is somewhere in the middle:
user demand + your own excitement.
That’s how you stay happy while building.
Everything in life is a volume game.
More bets you play, the more chances of finding something that works.
Now my question is, where's the nuance on that as it relates to the advice of "One product, one avatar, and one channel" to get your first traction?
Okay, so I just finished my web development fundamentals. Passed HTML + CSS Exam including practical coding skills.
Now I'm at Javascript. At which point does this get interesting? My goal is full-stack but I feel like I'm really into front-end given my design/product bg.
@marclou probably the edge is the indie/early-stage builder brand recall you've built from your personal brand and Trust MRR as a by producct. I haven't seen any of that guy's content sooo won't trust him either even if they are "big". lol
@alexcooldev I could relate so hard in the pivot to survival. One more Q that keeps bugging me, if you came from a failed biz/suffered heavy losses, how would you make sure that the past mistakes don't hold you back when it is time to double down again
@mil000 i don't know the guy nor a fan of him but if you are not looking at it with the POV of what you can get/gain from it in return/ROI pov, you'll never gonna see its value imho
after flex-box, now at CSS-grid but wait there's Advanced CSS Grid???
Okay from now I will be less demanding to front-end engineers I work with....
Day 1 of documenting my journey until I hit $10k MRR with a SaaS/series of SaaS products.
Today is March 6, 2026, I will be filming my journey in learning how to create software from scratch - no vibe coding shortcuts, I want to understand the intricacies first via Codecademy's Fullstack Engineering program before I do AI assisted coding.
Season 1 is $10K MRR from 0
raw, unfiltered, gamified - how many days/months/years before I hit $10k mrr? I'm not sure but I will keep putting bets until I achieve it.
Wish me luck!
I'm not a newbie in Business. I started my own Outsourcing agency for law firms back in 2023 and it failed - prior to that I co-founded a similar but different vertical/business with my previous employer where I learned all my skills.
this is my recovery/bounce-back arc.
