Their campign concept was very feature-focused, so my goal was to bring a little more life and personality to it while still hitting the key messages.

My phone was pickpocketed last week. 😭
One minute I had it. The next, it was gone. When my husband tried calling it and it was already switched off, we knew exactly what had happened.
Losing a 6-month-old iPhone 17 Pro Max sucks. It disrupted my mood and entire weekend and honestly, I’m still sad about it.
But the first place my brain went wasn’t the phone itself.
It was the years of content, UGC footage, B-roll, notes and everything tied to my work.
By that night, I was back up and running on a spare phone because everything was backed up to iCloud.
I’m still annoyed about losing the phone. But I’m incredibly grateful I didn’t lose the work. 🥲
If you spend hours creating content, filming, editing, saving ideas, or building something online, don’t wait to back it up.
Losing a device is painful. Losing years of your work would hurt a whole lot more!

Walking into a store with a full in-store shot list changes how I shoot completely.
Even though I come in with my script and visuals planned, I already know the angles, the hooks, and how each clip could fit into the final edit. That structure is what lets me move fast, but also play once I’m in there.
Some of the best shots come from experimenting in the moment, carts, aisles, even the frozen section. That’s where the creative comes in.
That mix of planning and real-time decisions is what makes my content both creative and strategic. What looks spontaneous in-store is built on intention.

@madebymercedes_@motionapp_ That's awesome. It's been super valuable and really helps you build and sharpen your Creative Strategy skills. I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a formal degree specifically for Creative Strategy, so certifications like this are definitely a great addition.
