Replying to @caulmick@LeoVaradkar@HollyCairnsTD and @IrishMailSunday the government really trying to take money from the disabled community, whether it be visible or not the disabled community needs to continue to get the little support they are given.
We are deeply disappointed that the bill to reform the Mental Health Act has not been included in the Government’s priority publication list for the Autumn Dáil session #ReformMHA

It was great to get the opportunity to speak at Leinster house yesterday. I told my experience of the system here in Ireland and how poor it is .
We need more funding , more quality services and more advocacy.
Change is needed , we need to be listened to .
Further more we can see the calls for CAHMS to be dismantled , children and families have been hurt .
There is nothing positive in that .
I'm shocked to see the neglect of the magnitude of the situation. This can not be left to fade into the past. Not anymore .

I'm saddened to see the lack of follow up and concern on the recent CAHMS report. I've attached some images.
One of the health ministers @MaryButlerTD stating the report " did not find any evidence of systemic over prescribing." Which was a positive outcome apparently.

I'm so proud to have been part of this event . Such an inspirational day filled with powerful voices and women from all backgrounds sharing in one passion for a fair and just system.
We were delighted to be in Leinster House today for the @women4election and @OireachtasNews event to mark #IWD2023!
It was an honour to join mental health advocates, our fellow members and women of diverse backgrounds to call for 50/50 gender representation in Irish politics

My new podcast 'do you mind' will be out shortly. I hope this can provide a safe space for conversation around mental health, social issues and just talking about how mad life can be while having a laugh along the way.

@Susan95723292@lisaemurphy Yes I believe we all do as a society how poor our healthcare system is ,
If you have a quick look at the statistics and ask people who have had real lived experience through this " we all know unless we are choosing not to see"
@Susan95723292@lisaemurphy I'm afraid it is , unfortunately we all know how overstretched our healthcare system is but the bottom line is , it is the job of the nurses and doctors to attend to a Crisis , be it mental or physical. To be over worked is one thing , but to be overlooked is another
@Susan95723292@lisaemurphy How is it not their fault ? It is their job to protect and care for the most vulnerable and sick ?
Mental health is not something to just ignore and walk past , your comment is where the problem starts
Have a listen in tomorrow at 4pm , thanks again Chris. Let's keep using our voices and making change in any way we can , we are stronger together.
