Thanks to the @washingtonpost & @petermarksdrama for the coverage of our coalition work. Our partnership has been working across the country on these issues for many years, and we’re proud to see the fruits of those efforts recognized. Much more to come https://t.co/JbIDTdbixD
BREAKING
John Giles, the Republican mayor of Mesa, AZ announced he is endorsing Kamala Harris for President: "Our party used to stand for the belief that every Arizonan, no matter their background or circumstances, should have the freedom, opportunity and security to live out their American Dream.
But since Donald Trump refused to accept the outcome of the 2020 election, Republicans have yet to course correct. The Republican Party with Trump at its helm continues down the path of political extremism, away from focusing on our fundamental freedoms...
In the spirit of the late Sen. John McCain’s motto, “Country First,” I call on other Arizona Republicans to join me in choosing country over party this election and to vote against Donald Trump."
On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country.
I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination.
I’m deboosted today by bot follower platform manipulation.
Do me a favor. Follow me, and ask everyone you know to follow me. I’ll do my best to follow back those who quote tweet this and ask folks to follow me.
Thanks!
Fetterman campaign should get praise for many reasons but a core part of the success is that he was a guy who struggled in real ways, as most Americans do. You can’t fake that. The era of nominating wealthy, slick candidates should come to an end.
Good morning! My name is Ruwa Romman, and I’ve just been elected to become Georgia’s first Muslim woman in the state house and first Palestinian ever elected to any public office in the state 🌊💙 #GAPol#Ruwa4Georgia
It's official. I will be the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania.
We bet on the people of Pennsylvania - and you didn’t let us down
And I won’t let you down. Thank you.
WE WON!!!! History was made tonight. We made history for Floridians, for Gen Z, and for everyone who believes we deserve a better future. I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to represent my home in the United States Congress. #FL10
When you vote today please thank the election workers!
Show them you appreciate their service to our democracy even more than the hatred the election deniers give through their threats and intimidation
What are you doing today? If you haven’t yet voted, do it. If you have, ask a neighbor/coworker/friend if they need a ride or help finding their polling location. We can do this together. #Electionday
We love seeing candidates getting the vote out with celebrity artists, dancing to musicians & other artistic celebrations. But important to not use arts just as decoration; candidates must talk about their arts platforms & how their plans impact creative workers
Affordable/accessible Housing is a HUGE issue for creative sector workers across the country & especially in GA. If your campaign isn’t proposing solutions to this, you are not speaking to these voters.
Brian Kemp is a failure. Housing is one of the top—if not THEE top issue for GA voters because Georgians are facing a housing crisis.
He wants to talk about his “record.” Well look at this.
What are you doing today to make sure everyone you know votes in the election? Now is the time to call that friend, text that family member, drop by your neighbor to say hello & talk voting
It’s telling that the conspiracy gang thinks that being found out as gay is the most terrible thing. This is what they invented as a “hot story hoax” because it’s their secret fear & because it titillates them.
@TheLincoln Agree. Bad examples, neither are throwaway books & have received considerable recognition already. Lot of bias/assumptions built into what was traditionally considered classic & what is “serious” book (plus lots of now-classics were considered cheap reads at time—ie Dickens)
@DataDiva_net Absolutely. That’s part of the answer to the value of diversity argument. We learn & benefit from the experience of others (well, except for Thomas, who apparently lives in a world where one only needs one’s own opinion)
