I learned this weekend that 2 women in their 90s gave their lives to Jesus at our event in Eugene OR 2 weeks ago. One was 95. She saw His face, stay with me here, THE NEXT DAY. He leaves me slack jawed. We won’t give Him more praise than He’s worthy of today, brothers & sisters.
People are going to walk away. This is a harsh world, the devil’s ruthless and our Christian witness crumbles. But Jesus is not like us. He’s true. He’s patient. Not scandalized or scared off. When we’ve exhausted every replacement for Him & miss Him so, there He’ll be. Faithful.
Being asked by pastors & their elders on occasion to address their congregations does not mean that the woman -coming by their invitation, mind you -wants to pastor their church. Troubled brothers, try to relax. I do not see a female takeover on the horizon. Have some herbal tea.
Today our prayers honor the sacrifice that so many have made in service to families, friends, community, and country. We remember them always. #MemorialDay 🇺🇸
