Hot Take: To be a successful founder, you have to learn how to lie to your own brain.

Working for yourself is a trap. Without a boss, your "personal" and "work" lives bleed into a blurry mess of semi-productivity. You're never fully on, and never truly resting.

I used to hate on "morning workout girlies," but I finally realized I needed a context switch.

Moving my body became the physical signal that tells my brain:
Sleep mode 😴…OVER 👀
Lock-in mode🔒… ON🫡

(Literally just finished today’s and feel like I’ve won the day before even opening my laptop!)

This applies to everything- switching from admin to filming requires a "reset" to shift gears.

These physical cues signal your nervous system to stop task-switching so you can actually properly focus.

So, before you pay for another fancy "system" or gadget to fix your productivity, go back to basics.

Master the transition, and focus follows. 👏
