I have nothing against Fotmob, they're a great app I use daily for scores and data.
I also understand as someone who is writing about clubs that you don't "own" a story but this article in Fotmob follows the exact structure of my newsletter on Racing on Monday and uses phrases I use in my newsletter eerily similarly.
Example from mine: "When they went down in 2012 there was a high chance they might not ever return... Even when Racing were in LaLiga they were a basket case."
Example on Fotmob: "They went down in 2012... but even when they were in the top flight Racing Santander were a bit of a basket case club."
Example from mine: "Jose Alberto Lopez had come off a bruising spell at Malaga where he lost the fanbase... That was their first season in 10 years in the top two divisions where they hadn’t been relegated."
Example on Fotmob: "José Lopez... fresh off the back of a really poor season at Malaga... He had lost the fans before he was let go... That was their first season for 10 years in the top two divisions where they hadn't been relegated."
I am not here to out anybody but it's extremely frustrating that something you work hard on and have engaged with all season and for years which is Spanish football can be ripped off by a massive company like this
For context here is the link to my newsletter tell me if you think I'm wrong and happy to retract
