This community sits at the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers. They’ve been devastated time and time again.

I’m going to be in that area very soon as I film nature based solutions for @thewaterloop but have been unable to find people and projects helping Cairo.

Perhaps this community, which is predominantly Black and has a high poverty rate, has essentially been abandoned?
