In case you're wondering what a category 4 storm surge looks like along the South Carolina coast. This was Garden CIty after Hugo in 1989. GC is 50 miles north of where Hugo made landfall. The storm surge was 14 feet. #scwx #ncwx #Florence

@antmasiello @ryanweather @weathermodels_ In WV, this map is showing 12-15 inches of rain in the same areas that had some of their worst flooding in history with a narrow band of 4-10 inches in June 2016. This would be *the* flood of the century if this panned out.
