Interesting how Congress suddenly discovers concern for Great Nicobar when India is building strategic infrastructure near one of the world’s most critical maritime routes.
The Great Nicobar Project is a Government of India initiative aimed at strengthening connectivity, trade, and national security. Instead of debating facts, the opposition keeps reducing every major project to “Adani” without evidence.
If there are environmental concerns, discuss them transparently. If there are questions about implementation, ask them. But branding every national project as a corporate conspiracy is not policy—it’s POLITICS .
India needs serious debate on development, sustainability, and security, not fear campaigns built around slogans.
Swati Chaturvedi’s post on Raghav Chadha is a textbook example of selective editing and lazy confirmation bias.
The actual audio clearly has the reporter urging him to speak because “aapka bolna toh chal jaata hai”.
Instead of verifying the clip, she flipped it to fit the tired “he has gone mum after joining BJP” storyline.
When journalists start twisting words to suit their narrative instead of reporting facts, credibility takes a serious hit.
A simple fact-check by turning up the volume would have exposed the distortion immediately.
Union Minister @KirenRijiju hits bullseye 🔥
*Rahul Gandhi’s Andaman scuba-diving trip cost taxpayers around ₹26 crore and was used to campaign against the Great Nicobar Project.
*The post claims the Great Nicobar Project is a strategic national initiative aimed at strengthening India’s maritime security, trade, and presence near the Malacca Strait.
*It argues that the project is being implemented by government agencies and is not an Adani project.
The post accuses Congress of opposing development projects, targeting Indian corporates, and spreading misinformation about the project.
*It concludes that the Great Nicobar Project is important for India’s future and should proceed despite political opposition, while contrasting Rahul Gandhi’s actions with those of Kiren Rijiju.
Decades of fear replaced with courage and security.✊
Under PM Modi Ji’s leadership, the government took a tough stand against Naxalism, ensuring that the Constitution is upheld and protected in every corner of our nation. A safer, stronger India! 🇮🇳
Rajya Sabha Member @raghav_chadha was given a warm welcome on his arrival at BJP core committee meeting in Punjab by Manpreet Singh Badal, Sandeep Jakhar, Tikshan Sood, Ashwani Sekhri and other senior leaders of Punjab BJP.
Ma’am, the real emergency today exists in your mind and in the minds of a few others. Such minds have become so obsessed that the actual Emergency imposed by the Gandhi Parivar is gradually fading from memory, while the New India, built on governance and development, is being unfairly demonized.
The reason seems simple:
You and your coterie are unable to impose your agenda on a government that is focused on governance and delivery.
Perhaps it is time to take a break, look honestly in the mirror, and reconnect with your earlier self. There may still be a chance for recovery.
Quite a few consumer IPOs in recent years have been runway raises. The new Zepto IPO has been tagged similarly.
But the Jefferies research report suggests this one is structured differently. If you take a closer look:
Cash on books (Mar-26): ~₹5,680 Cr
Debt: Zero
Q4 FY26 FCF burn: ~₹882 Cr (declining sequentially over the last three quarters).
The IPO plans to raise ~₹8,000 Cr in fresh capital.
About ~₹5,200 Cr is earmarked for specific deployment: dark store expansion (~₹1,630 Cr), lease rentals (~₹1,735 Cr), tech infrastructure (~₹1,325 Cr), and brand marketing through the subsidiary (~₹520 Cr). The balance is reserved for general corporate purposes.
Since the unit economics are getting sharper every quarter, the question for investors is whether management can compound the efficiency trajectory once the capital is deployed.

Power demand is surging rapidly – India’s peak demand touched 270.82 GW in May, driven by heat waves, rising AC penetration, industrial growth, agriculture, and data centres.
Generation capacity is growing at record pace – India added 52.53 GW of new capacity in FY26 (till Jan 2026), including 39.65 GW from renewables, the highest-ever annual addition.
Generation alone is not enough – Without adequate transmission lines, substations, and transformers, power cannot efficiently reach consumers.
AC penetration has huge growth potential – India’s AC ownership remains far below that of China at a similar income level, implying significant future electricity demand.
Thermal power remains indispensable – Coal-based generation continues to provide grid stability and cannot be replaced overnight despite rapid renewable expansion.
Private sector investment is critical – Companies such as NTPC, Adani Power, Tata Power, Torrent Power and JSW Energy are investing heavily in generation, transmission, and storage infrastructure.
Balanced development is the need of the hour – India must accelerate investments while ensuring fair compensation, stakeholder engagement, and faster project execution to achieve long-term power security.
SP has one answer for every question UP's non-Yadav communities ask about their record.
Ask about the postings: social justice. Ask about the criminal protection: BJP propaganda. Ask about the development gap: you are dividing the backwards. Ask about the family list: personal attack.
Not once, across thirty years and two governments, has SP produced a counter-record. Not one term where non-Yadav OBC representation in district administration measurably improved. Not one term where Dalit atrocity cases moved faster because of SP's governance rather than despite it. Not one term where development allocation reached non-Yadav localities at the same pace as Yadav-dominant constituencies.
And UP has not forgotten any of it. Hoardings calling out SP's Yadav-first reality are going up on highways and street corners across the state. The people of UP are not blind. They are not confused. They know exactly what SP is and they are making sure that knowledge stays on the road where everyone can see it.
Yogi does not need a formula for responding to SP's criticism. UP's own citizens are already writing the response. #SamajYadav_Party
According to Clearing Corp of India data, FPIs pumped ₹33,000 crore into Government Securities (G-Secs) in just the first half of June.
To put that in perspective, that's six times the ₹5,512 crore they invested in all of May, and it marks the highest inflow on record for this category.
The Modi Govt's decision to grant exemptions to FPIs investing in G-Secs has proven to be an exceptional move.
