@Nethaneel The organisers were quite savvy in releasing tickets in tranches, almost panicking people into buying. It obviously worked, though it put me off completely. I’d prefer to watch a full day of UK trials (rather than a few events in a short-ish session). And British League matches.

These crowds at Commies for athletics have been amazing. We have to find a way to allow this to continue for diamond leagues and trials in the country. No excuses. People want to see the sport. Make it happen!

Promotion of race walking is very important but I’m not sure many can relate to a 10km walk… perhaps a 1 mile race would be better??

Track action disrupting the high jumpers…
I do question the need for a 10,000m race.
The distance means there are athletes at different points on the track whilst the field eventers are also competing. Can’t be easy for the nerves 😬

Limited participants and empty lanes show how far our sport has regressed.
