NIC’s decision to recruit through GATE 2024/2025/2026 scores was announced only in late Jan/Feb 2026 — when GATE 2026 was about to be conducted and registrations were long closed. This isn’t about avoiding GATE, but about timely and student-friendly communication. #NICThroughCBT
