Prosecutors gave their closing arguments with a slideshow presentation. Defense simply stated their closing arguments with honestly, some funny digs at Chad Daybell. Rob Wood followed up with a rebuttal statement & now the jury is in deliberation

Jury instructions have been read and there will be a brief recess before closing arguments begin. The prosecution is up first and prosecutor Rob Wood will be giving the statement.

A North Carolina nurse killed her three children on Tuesday before she turned gun on herself. Ethel Steele (40) was on a FaceTime call with a witness when she shot Sakendra (9), Sakenya (12), and their brother Sakenlo (14). They were known as a reclusive family that lived in a quiet neighborhood. This is devastating and shocking to the entire community in Winston-Salem.

Zulemma, Alex’s wife at the time he died, was next up to testify. She sure has had a lot to say! She was friends with Lori before meeting Alex. The 21 minute phone call between Melanie, Lori, & Chad (which Melanie recorded) is admitted as evidence. The jury & courtroom is listening to the phone call now. Melanie is questioning that both their spouses have died & now JJ is missing. There is arguing w religious references
