iCISA celebrated Theme Country Day, with Argentina as the focus nation, under the 168th ITP on Audit of Social Sector Schemes (Spanish).
H.E. Mariano Agustín Caucino, Ambassador of Argentina to India, delivered an insightful address and engaged in an in-depth interaction with participants from 16 nations. He highlighted the strong India–Argentina strategic partnership, growing trade, cooperation in lithium, energy, defense & nuclear technology, and emphasized the importance of South–South collaboration and strengthening platforms like the G20.
The Argentine participant, Ms. Ana Cecilia Puppo, presented a comprehensive country paper on Argentina’s geography, governance framework, and the role of Government External Control (AGN) in advancing accountability and SDGs.

The 168th International Training Programme on Audit of Social Sector Schemes at iCISA concluded today, marking the culmination of an intensive two-week journey for 27 participants from 16 countries under the ITEC framework.
The valediction ceremony was graced by Shri Ravindra Pattar, Additional Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General (NR), as the Chief Guest, and Shri Saurabh Narain, Director General (iCISA).
Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions on governance initiatives, INTOSAI frameworks, risk assessment, audit design matrices, social audit practices, and auditing flagship social sector schemes. The second week featured hands-on training in Power BI and discussions on the use of emerging technologies in audit.
Beyond the classroom, the cohort experienced India’s cultural and institutional heritage through visits to the Taj Mahal, Rajghat, President House, and a classical Bharatanatyam performance.

iCISA inaugurated the 168th International Training Programme (ITP) on Audit of Social Sector Schemes with AI-enabled Spanish interpretation, bringing together 27 participants from 16 countries.
Gracing the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Rukmini Banerji, CEO of Pratham Education Foundation, highlighted the importance of global collaboration, noting that countries across the world were facing similar challenges in education and social development, and collective learning was essential to move from schooling for all to learning for all.
The training programme, inaugurated in the presence of Director General iCISA, Shri Saurabh Narain, aims to enable cross-continental exchange of experiences and best practices in auditing social sector initiatives.
