@jeffreym_nelson 60s & 70s, there was a circle k out on shea and Scottsdale and a couple of stores. It was mostly small acreage rural homes until cave creek. When relatives came to town we would go to Pinnacle Peak or Rawhide. That’s when the rodeo was downtown.
