Has there ever been a stronger argument for Proportional Representation?
A day where Sunak is found to have a completely chaotic plan that is both inhumane & llegal and Starmer is threatening to sack Labour MPs who back a ceasefire?
This is our supposed democracy.
Keir Starmer is reportedly threatening to sack any Labour frontbench MP who votes for a ceasefire tomorrow. What a complete lack of moral leadership.
The SNP will force a vote on a ceasefire. This is a plea for every MP to do the right thing and vote with their conscience.
To all heading to the 🇵🇸 March tomorrow remember that what Braverman wants is for things to kick off so she can push her weak boss to agree to more crackdowns on peaceful protest. Don’t give her and her hard right followers who will be turning up the satisfaction 1/2
1,400 dead in Israel. 10,000 dead in Gaza. Increased military activity on the West Bank. Increased settler violence. More and more children dying every day.
When will the British government join with peaceful voices around the world to demand an immediate ceasefire?
I repeat my call for a humanitarian ceasefire in the Middle East, the unconditional release of all hostages, and the delivery of life-saving supplies at the scale needed.
Everyone must assume their responsibilities.
This is a moment of truth.
History will judge us all.
People are dying in the darkness.
Rishi Sunak & Keir Starmer should be straining every sinew to find solutions.
The very least they could do is call for a ceasefire with international pressure. Instead they have encouraged the brutality of war & the deaths that will ensue.
@JamesCleverly It's not in line with international humanitarian law though is it? By not speaking out about it you're doing the opposite of protecting Palestinian civilians
Every time a day passes more children have died in Gaza.
Yet the Government and the Labour party are refusing to call for a ceasefire.
This is very bare minimum.
Beyond reprehensible that they've had lots of words to say but haven't managed the most basic humanitarian call.
Thousands of innocent civilians have already been killed in Israel and Gaza.
With the humanitarian crisis set to deteriorate even further, I’m calling for a ceasefire.
@LoveIsland So happy you have taken out the cliff hangers. Makes it a much better watch! Still suspense as to how the Islanders are going to react. Excited for Sunday.
@Vana1970@virginmedia They don't like it when you cancel because the "best" they could offer was 61 pound a month. Then they call you up with a better detail and sign you up without you agreeing to it. Shocking company. No reward for being loyal customer.
@virginmedia You have employees signing people up for contracts without consent and not letting them cancel. When we called your customer services we were told "nothing we can do" and refusing to cancel or further our complaint. What are our next steps besides trading standards.
@CTSI_UK@virginmedia Virgin called us offering an wifi contract, we agree for them to send over details but clearly state we have a contract elsewhere. Virgin Media automatically sign us up and refuse to cancel contract. All this happens from an employees own mobile number WFH.
