Dolly Parton, the country music icon whose larger-than-life personality and legendary songs made her one of America’s most beloved entertainers, has passed away. She was 80.

Parton died peacefully Tuesday in Nashville, according to her family. A cause of death was not immediately released.

From humble beginnings in Tennessee to hits like “Jolene” and “9 to 5,” Parton built a seven-decade career spanning music, movies, television and philanthropy, becoming a country legend and global superstar along the way.

"Dolly has lived in the light, and is in the arms of Jesus, surely met by Carl, her parents, and countless others who have watched her and longed for her to meet them in the heavens,” her nephew Bryan Seaver said the family's video announcement of her passing.

He says he just got there and he’s already spent $200 on bare necessities

- He just touched the coffee K cups, but because there is a sensor and he picked them up they charged a $19.99 restock fee
- He ordered egg fried rice, it was $23 with a service fee of $15. If you go to the lobby it’s a $3 lobby fee to get it
- Getting money was a $12 ATM fee
- $50 resort fee
- He bought water, it was outrageous
- No free bottle waters, no free coffee
- Everything is on scales, if you touch it there’s mandatory fees
