Trump removed CNN, which was supposed to travel with him today from the press pool. So once again, we will not have video coverage of his trip. This will undoubtedly be heading back to the courts. But in the meantime, I have some thoughts.

As most of you know, I keep a weekly list of broken norms as I did during Trump’s first regime, called The Weekly List. As a result, I follow the news at every media outlet to make sure I am covering every broken norm. My work is internationally recognized, and it is archived at the Library of Congress and the University of Pennsylvania.

SoI have a front row seat to see whether or not watching Trump’s lies, propaganda and rants on cable and other TV would have an impact on my ability to keep up with what he and his regime are up to. We just had the first full week that I completed yesterday, Week 99, without that coverage. Here is what I have found.

There is no discernible difference in keeping track of what he is up to by not seeing him on TV. Everything has been reported by the press. Even his attacks on reporters before he goes on a plane or otherwise are recorded by the written press, even if we don’t watch him live doing it unless we hunt for clips.

I personally believe two things. First, he really shot himself in the foot with this one because this man became president by being on the media and controlling the narrative. He is unable to do that now with 33 days until midterms. Second, since I don’t feel like any of us are missing anything, if you take the time to read the news or my list (please subscribe), it’s probably good for our collective mental health not to have to process all of his lies and propaganda and the outrage it causes.

Target Canada: The Intentional Siege at the Border -

The recent border delay involving a Canadian delivery truck is NOT a mistake or an accident.

It is a hostile, calculated move by American border authorities to exploit Canada's geographic vulnerability.

By stopping a vehicle transporting essential food, milk, mail, and alcohol at the St. Stephen crossing, the U.S. directly choked off the isolated community of Campobello Island, New Brunswick, INTENTIONALLY leaving local grocery store shelves bare.

This is part of a DELIBERATE pattern of economic aggression against Canadians.

The Americans proved their malicious intent earlier this year in June 2026, when border agents used the exact same tactics against the legendary Canadian rock band Rush. Agents weaponized arbitrary border regulations to delay the band's equipment and production gear when coming from Mexico City, forcing Rush to cancel the opening night of their residency at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

From sabotaging a major cultural tour to withholding the daily food supply of everyday citizens, the United States is INTENTIONALLY weaponizing its borders to harm Canadian interests.

These are aggressive, calculated acts aimed at intimidating a country north of the border.

Canada cannot accept these insults passively. Our government MUST point the finger directly at the source, demand an immediate formal apology from Washington no matter how long it takes, and enforce STRICT accountability to stop this blatant international coercion.

Just more reasons and proof to know exactly how untrustworthy this criminal administration south of our border actually is.

There must be a clear response from the US and NATO, not only in the form of public legal actions, diplomatic pressure, and the strengthening of internal security.

The only thing Russia understands is strength. And the networks of Russian special services feel increasingly unpunished in NATO countries. This is war. It is necessary to move from passive defense to aggressive countermeasures.
