Stray is okay though. Cute cat. Also the mouse game is okay.

@Tom_Nicholas In fairness he probably has to use iron gall ink to make the important fancy documents. That stuff can't go in a Biro and is pretty corrosive to most fountain pens as well.
@TriviumPaolo @asthmaticlizard It should be noted that all the so-called hazardous additives listed in your screenshot have E numbers so are considered safe to add to food in Europe. It's possible they are used at different concentrations than is permitted by EU law but they are the same chemicals and are safe
@Dungeonbrownies@ZachWeiner I think this would be worse, since you actually can't really taste the bread in a summer pudding. The point is that it just takes on the flavour of the fruit, and the bread gets soft in the juice so there's not much texture to it either. The pudding is mostly just fruit
@ZachWeiner To be clear, it's best to use crappy white bread, then you only get the flavour of the fruit. If you can taste the bread, something probably went wrong
@ZachWeiner The bread makes up the outside 'casing' of the pudding and it's filled with fruit and often added sugar. It's like a cold, soft fruit pie. Serve with cream it's really good, and also super easy to make and try!
@Jen67823021 @_pickering1 Damn that sucks, I'm sorry 😕 I'm not sure if it might be slightly cheaper to get the train to Calais or Hook of Holland and get a walk on ferry, but it'll probably still be expensive

@AliceAvizandum I remember this from my time in Glasgow, it was really bad. It reminds me of the kind of double standards people have for travelers everywhere else in the UK
