Im seeing in discussion SEO pushed off its pedestal more and more, but no one seems to care that AEO/GEO is built on that very foundation
SEO isnt dying, but the concept of "search" is definitely becoming much broader. If the goal used to be "rank #1 in Google," now it's more likely to be "be the source AI systems choose the reference." As classic SEO and AEO/GEO are leading to other priorities:
clearer entity associations
stronger topical authority
structured content
original insights/data
brand mentions across the web
community signals (Reddit, YT, forums, etc.)
So personally, i see AEO/GEO less as replacements for SEO and more as the next layer on top of it
Strong SEO fundamentals still matter but visibility today extends far beyond the traditional 10 blue links
Many people don't even realize how much platforms where people enjoy reading articles about quality products can help increase brand awareness and unlock the potential of your developments in fintech or AI tools
In order to illustrate this, having studied Reddit as a marketing tool, I discovered an interesting tendency: daily audience increased from 73M at the end of 2023 to 127M at the beginning of 2026. It seems understanding why people trust discussions is becoming as important as knowing how to deliver ads
Behind all this lies an equally labor intensive process that yields a more valuable audience, potential lead, or like minded individuals.

I recently wrote, how effective is native ads in its implementation? And then I came to one truth: it's not so much traditional ads that matters, but the psychology of awareness and the virality of the discussion of this product, if we are talking about sowing it on Reddit
@bountyplz 100%. When it comes to the authenticity of native integration, I can say its key factor to cinsider before taking backing for a client's product
Native ads is intended to increase product awareness and therefore sales. So that's how important component 2 is in the agreement?
So my only real question is this.
Native advertising; what are the chances that a client will be truly satisfied when we complete such a project using native integration? How do we keep the money ourselves, without refunding the client?
We're talking about personalized posts, expanded reach, real-time comment engagement, conversational engagement... and original reviews that truly fit in. Not fake, not bot-generated, but naturally placed, contextual, as if they belong there.
The question is, how does this whole setup impact a real audience?
Ngl most of the time, people just scroll past. Even when these comments seem completely natural, completely organic, completely legitimate, they still feel like noise. No one stops to read them. No one buys because of them. They're just... there.
So if viewers aren't paying attention, what are we even selling the client? A beautifully packaged illusion?
Alright, as of today, I'm officially reppin' the company I work for. We're down to partner up and help you cross that finish line with native ads, whatever your project looks like
But here's the thing. Today it hit me: "This is literally the bare minimum I'm doing"
My gig here? Lowkey just a fishing rod for self-fulfillment
The ad game, the deals, the client roster... it's all hella exciting, ngl. But tbh, I'm straight-up tired of being at the mercy of randos
I've collected so much intel at this point, built so many playbooks on how to walk clients to the W. And I ain't ready to let that go"
