Americans did not take these words lightly at our founding nor should we take them lightly now. With the divine intervention of God Almighty, and a relatively small group of amazing Men and Women, our nation was created—and today, we still hold this strong desire for freedom in our American DNA, and on this Independence Day, my appeal to all is to never forget those who sacrificed along the path of freedom allowing us to stand our ground as the freest nation in the history of the world. And yes…

After three years of observing celestial patterns, Sens figured out that the picture would perfectly line up on June 4, which when he took the shot.
These final few weeks with my dad have been precious beyond words. At the end of every visit, he asked me to pray for him. Which of course I did. On my knees beside the big leather chair he was confined to for the past several months.
But as I was leaving his house this past Saturday night, he asked if he could pray for me. As if he knew.
Then, as was his habit, he said, “I couldn’t be prouder of you Andy.”
The source of a word determines its weight. Those were wonderfully weighty words. And his final words to me.
I’ll miss him every day until I see him again.
