@GretchenPSmith No to the 40%. Absolutely no way. I waited tables for 20 years and sometimes I was given 200% tips, but those were very rare circumstances. Anything in the 20-25% range is great if I did a great job. Guests need to understand that servers don’t get to keep all of the tips either
