@slumberingsinh like i dont mind turn based games nor was that an issue for me, but it's just so overwhelming to get into; everything seems to drown you in numbers and text and formulas and figuring out a build is super hard for a first time run.

@MrOvis_ the issue with the BOS is hoarding all of that power mixed with hyper militarism and zealotry is a powder keg waiting to go off; they lack nuance in the wasteland and iirc have no issues taking/stealing food from farmers at gunpoint. They can't sustain themselves.

@MrOvis_ I've never had that experience, the opposite actually. With deeper backstories it gives the DM tools to invest players in the world and pull on strings to get them to go to places and do things; above all it makes the players care more about the world and those in it.

@Viper_Lass in all fairness didn't they kill the only female squadmate in AC7? (though its been a while since I played I may be wrong, also I guess it can be argued she didn't have much presence as a character either).
