Trust me when I say, after spending a whole day writing code and reading articles: there is nothing intellectually deep about the NED or foreign policy journals.

This is exactly correct.

They have no defense, because they don't argue from logic, they argue from self-ordained moral authority. They reject the existence of any external, objective standard for good and evil. In doing so, they assume the role of final judge. That is, they play God. And like any god in a closed system, they've already rendered judgment: the world is divided into the saved and the damned.

This is why they can rally behind an MS-13 gang member with absolute moral certainty while showing not a flicker of sympathy for the victims of Tesla firebombings or swattings. Those victims, in their cosmology, are already condemned. Nothing done to them is unjust, because in their eyes, justice is whatever serves their chosen narrative.

They don't hate judgment. They hate competition.
