By continuing to engineer software, and by realizing that engineering software now means the management of agents to produce that software.
Using agents will make you X times more productive. This does not mean that companies will require fewer programmers. It means that companies will get X times more done, and make X times more profit.
I expect the demand for software engineers, who know how to successfully drive agents, to go through the roof.
@imnotchalk@EpiphanyDynamic I use the app more these days, but I love herdr. Still use it for when I need a terminal, keeping workspaces open for all my projects. Not sure if kicking off subagents this way would track as expected in the agents panel
@imnotchalk@EpiphanyDynamic I found Hermes is great at an orchestration layer for other harnesses, Ill have Hermes kick off codex/opencode "subagents" primarily because the delegate_task function doesn't allow specifying models/providers
@HermesWatcher@FarloMd@NVIDIAGeForce Bonsai 2 works for Hermes off a 3060/4070, and you could probably do some tasks even off CPU with a lighterweight Liquid model (haven't tested yet)
@tuuu28283@Marduk21 You can also, in most states, get an alternative design (the states decide approved designs, some are for special purposes like donating a little bit to cancer, or denoting that you're former or current firefighter, police, military), as well as custom letters
@GarandThumb1 If you're wanting infantry tactics, Arma 3, Reforger, or Squad (in that order), if youre wanting gunplay, bodycam, Ready or Not (more police/swat, but still good), or others. If you're wanting command level tactics, Command Modern Operations, Sea Power, Carrier Command 2
