This remains line in the sand, BTC needs to accept above for party to continue.
BTC WHALES ARE DOING SOMETHING STRIKING -- AND IT PRECEDES BIG UPSWINGS
New on-chain data shows #Bitcoin whales are exiting leveraged long positions in a pattern we’ve seen before previous all-time highs.
Instead of dumping into weakness, large holders are cutting leveraged exposure early and rotating into safer balance-sheet positions -- the same behavior seen before past major rallies.
When whales trim longs methodically rather than panic sell, Bitcoin historically follows with a strong impulse up once selling pressure is absorbed.
Watch the behavior -- not just the price.

Coinbase MM throwing some "u shall nah pass" into those 70keh levels.
Overal strong demand at 80 across most exchanges.
This near 85-87 also decently liquid right now.
Hedge funds are extremely bearish on the Japanese Yen:
Leveraged funds held ~85,000 contracts of net short positions on the Yen in the week ending December 14th, the 2nd-highest since July 2024.
This marks the 2nd consecutive week of heavily bearish positioning, following ~92,000 net short contracts recorded in the week ending December 9th.
Short positions have gradually accumulated since July as the US Dollar has strengthened against the yen.
This comes as the gap between US and Japanese rates remains large, at ~3.0 percentage points, limiting support for the currency despite the Bank of Japan's rate hikes.
Additionally, real interest rates in Japan remain deeply negative, as inflation continues to exceed policy rates, discouraging investors from holding yen-denominated assets.
A similar situation was observed last year, when the USD/JPY currency pair rose above 160, prompting the Ministry of Finance to intervene in July 2024 to defend the domestic currency.
The yen is back under pressure.
Without a blowoff top, the 80% $BTC corrections are a thing of the past.
It’s more helpful to look at the true market mean ($81k), the ETF aggregate cost basis ($81k) and Saylor’s cost basis ($74k) as bear market floors.
We are ramping things up at The Stable.
Starting now, we are giving away 2x $50k @breakoutprop evaluations each month to our community and followers.
I touched on this on the stream yesterday, but the goal is simple: provide the resources you need to scale.
Details on how to claim the first two accounts below. 👇
Spot vs. Perp CVD
Spot flow is often considered “cleaner” because it represents unleveraged demand, while perp driven moves are frequently dismissed as fake or trap due to leverage and funding dynamics.
Although this statement is mostly accurate, it requires an important distinction.
Whose effort is being rewarded by price?
> If perp buyers are aggressive, yet price fails to advance or stalls, that indicates, The market is absorbing perp demand = weak move.
> If spot flow is neutral or flat, perps continue to buy, and price still grinding higher, then the effort is being rewarded. Supply is insufficient to stop the move, regardless of the source of demand.
In that scenario, labeling the move as “bearish” or “fake” simply because it’s perp-driven is incorrect.
The market doesn’t care where demand comes from only whether it gets rewarded.
