With the seizure of the Aquila II today in the Indian Ocean it’s possible the ESB used was Miguel Keith and potentially John Finn as the DDG spotted in footage.

Trump has mentioned several times now additional ships are on the way towards CENTCOM.

Will these 3 ships be adding to CENTCOM’s current build up?

Potential Caribbean Preparations

New day time satellite pass over MacDill AFB yesterday shows a noticeable change on the south apron. Since August this area has usually held the two E-3s and the occasional visitor, but yesterday there was around eight tankers parked together.

Historically, MacDill has used the south side to cluster jets that are earmarked for imminent missions or forward sorties. It’s more desecrate and less visible.

Not saying this means anything by itself, but the shift is interesting when you line it up with the recent drip feed of KC-135/KC-46 movements into Florida and the Caribbean. Something to keep an eye on rather than jump to conclusions.

Has the US played the OSINT and media community?

Many accounts have assumed the USS Gerald R. Ford was still holding near Madeira after that single F/A-18 ping. But what if that ping was deliberate misdirection? Navy aircraft rarely activate their transponders mid deployment without deliberate intent.

Looking closely at the last 72 hours of movements the pattern suggests that the Ford may actually be transiting west and not holding around Morocco. The narrative was a convenient cover to lower attention.

- P-8s out of the Azores have been extending patrols further west daily.

- USNS Supply (T-AOE-6) departed Rota on the 6th consistent with joining a carrier group en route.

- The quiet media cycle and sudden drop in chatter about Venezuela line up perfectly with a deliberate downshift in visibility. Pollymarket odds have hugely dropped.

Then we have the B-52 flight yesterday with a very unusual route. The route would have taken them around the region of the Fords estimated location. This seems too much of a coincidence to me.

Militaries know every move is watched by the OSINT community. Leaving breadcrumbs like the F-18 and a story about the Ford not moving fits perfectly.
