@savannahvicario good words. imo buying more bags, more shoes, gadgets, clothes, etc comes from an unconsciousss mindset of scarcity anxiety, actually i.e, Not having enough. Being aware of the link between buying stuff and trashing our home/people, hard to unsee the karma

@smoakpipe i work at a bank. we consider all this stuff and not giving loans according to climate change realted risks. Also, for corporate, it is considered a risk to bank a wholesale customer w/o a clear sustainability plan or in a very carbon-intensive business. ofc this is not public.
