🇺🇦 This is the reality of conscription in Ukraine
A woman screaming for her boyfriend as he's brutally dragged out of the car to be sent to the front line meat grinder
Meanwhile, the politicians who send people to die on both sides gleefully claim they're winning, but they never have to pay this price

Isn’t it funny that all the people working around the clock FOR FREE to do security audits on hundreds of Bitcoin projects are the same people BIP110ers have been calling scammers, spammers, grifters, shitcoiners, liars, pedos, etc for months?
Isn’t it funny that there are no BIP110ers on the red team?
Isn’t it funny that the people who are *actually* saving the Bitcoin ecosystem have been constantly slandered and vilified by the people who *claim* they are “saving bitcoin”?
Isn’t it funny??
Shoutout to @callebtc, @Rob1Ham and the many other red teamers who for some inexplicable reason are saving bitcoin even though they’re shitcoin spammer scammers.
We may never know their true motivations…
To those who say "it's her choice" I used to say the same thing about my own Hijab.
I was covered head to toe. Even on the beach. Even with my male relatives. And when people challenged me, I said: this is my choice. You know why? Because the other option was burning in hell, hung by my hair for eternity. That's what they taught me since childhood.
Yes, let me repeat it for you to just understand about our version of “freedom of choice.” I grew up in an Islamist culture that gave me two options. Cover yourself and go to heaven. Or don't cover, and be hanged by your hair and burned in hell.
Like when someone puts a gun to your head and says "you can go left or right", technically, yes, that's a choice.
I picked heaven. I called it freedom. And I believed it, because that's what happens when fear is all you've ever known.
And if you think I shouldn't be telling you my story, I don't care. I really, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, don't care. The women still living under that "choice"? I care about them.

"The Science" is invoking the 5th Amendment...
...on the same day Trump promises to "beat the fuc*ing sh*t out of [Iran]" for attacking US bases in Jordan...
...with missiles he said had been destroyed...

So Fauci oversaw the funding & creation of a virus that primarily killed old & sick Americans (& people worldwide)...
...just as western Entitlement programs began acutely threatening the solvency of western sovereign bond markets?
That is some coincidence, @RandPaul & @bennyjohnson.
European Commission: “Here is an instrument that empowers European citizens to shape policy on the issues that matter most.”
European patriots: “Ok, here’s the @SaveEuropeAct. Now close the borders and send them back.”
European Commission: “No, you racists. Wanting a safe, prosperous and European Europe goes against European values.”
Mechanic may have called me a vagina and insinuated that sentiment analysis is irrelevant for what happens with BIP-110... but he's wrong.
I shared this data not because I'm looking to spark controversy, but because there is a lot of Bitcoin at stake here and emotion can cause people to make poor decisions.
This is only amplified when we all live inside of our own little algorithmic bubbles.
Which is why this kind of analysis actually CAN give us clarity about what will happen on August 8th through a more human/social lens.
TLDR for people that didn't read the piece is that BIP-110 supporters are broadly:
1) Getting angrier and more disapproving the further this debate rages on.
2) Talking with more hedging language, compared to those against BIP-110 who are growing more convicted.
3) Being fed higher rates of BIP-110 content by the algorithm, causing the debate to appear to have a larger mindshare then it actually does.
4) Getting LESS excited the closer we get to the activation date (which was probably the most unexpected and counterintuitive finding IMO).
Again, I wish everyone the best as this debate rages on, but calling me names isn't going to stop me from sharing my findings ✌️
YouTube has just taken down the political discussion clip about the EU's Chat Control, and the video is no longer viewable in the EU.
This has been confirmed by several parties. The video is still available outside the EU.
@puheenaihefi podcast is a Finnish current affairs program with 60k subscribers. In this episode, Peter Sund, CEO of the Finnish Information Security Cluster (Kyberala ry) offered pointed criticism of the EU's new Chat Control directive, which was enacted under questionable circumstances.
Because the media is in Finnish, it is highly likely the censorship request came from a Finnish government official or a related party.
This makes it troublesome.
Because the Finnish constitution §12 guarantees freedom of expression.
Preventing political publications is a criminal offence: Abuse of Official Position, punishable by a fine or imprisonment for up to two years.

The biggest issues facing Bitcoin are not arbitrary data, they are:
- marginal new investors owning price exposure thru proxies run by monolithic state-compliant custodians, and not controlling actual BTC themselves
- very few actual holders of BTC transacting on the base layer
- quantum computing risks
We are wasting time with this jpeg shit
saylor is extremely good at one thing: raising copious amounts of capital. i do not have advice on that front
but when it comes to the inner technical workings of bitcoin he proved many times that he has no idea what he’s talking about
a few years ago he proudly announced on stage that his company will revolutionize the workplace by releasing software that will incentivize workers to show up on time to zoom calls by sending them fractions of a cent over lightning every time they do
truly a uniquely retarded idea that never launched, but also technically infeasible
saylor would go on every podcast for years announcing that ethereum isn’t necessary because we have lightning. a low iq comment that only someone doing no research whatsoever could ever say, and he didn’t say it once he said it seventy thousand times
of course when he actually needed a blockchain for his own purposes, to popularize STRC among crypto natives, he didn’t use lightning. he chose to promote a protocol that wraps STRC on ethereum
in another company keynote he proudly announced that microstrategy is developing ground-breaking software to store corporate documents in inscriptions on the bitcoin chain
not only was it politically tone-deaf (every bitcoiner hated inscriptions except for some wizard doodlers) and practically idiotic (there is no reason whatsoever to put corporate documents on a chain) it was also technology impossible. the chain is small, on purpose, and it cannot contain documents for every corporation.
when the mining industry was in flux during the mining exodus from china, saylor tried to stabilize things by starting a “miner council” he’d lead. on the first call of said council, mining leaders from across the globe listened to a multi-hour lecture where he rambled about how bitcoin is better than litecoin because it has more hashes per second (not knowing that litecoin’s hashing algorithm is entirely different from bitcoin’s hence the hash rates cannot be compared)
they couldn’t believe the confident boomer who invited them all to observe his complete and utter lack of knowledge in the field. they thought that because he’s rich he’d offer financial support, but he did not. he offered parables and monologues. the council never convened again
when asked about quantum resistance on major mainstream platforms, saylor routinely offers long monologues rehashing 15-year old forum posts on bitcointalk, not knowing the essence of what he says or why it no longer applies 15 years later, further convincing viewers that bitcoiners are lost
one of the greatest risks to bitcoin is allowing a single man to become its only spokesperson and decision maker. it’s especially risky if that man’s unprecedented access to capital allows him to be wrong for an exceptionally long time without changing his mind, while making him increasingly confident that he’s right.
In related news, July 4th 2026 was intended to be the original end-date of DOGE, where they would have cut over a trillion dollars from the annual federal budget.
But instead it dismantled, because nothing stops this train.
@TXMCtrades It's badass when they lived. It would have been dumb as fuck if they died. And a tragedy for their families. Imagine spending your life raising a daughter, just to have her fall to her death because meeting a adrenaline junky of a boyfriend.
$BTC
Closed at $60k support
There is a world in which something goes terribly wrong and we wick towards $45k this month
If so it's a buy IMO
If not 60k seems good
I bought a little bit at support a while ago
Will add big if $45k happens
Will add smol if we reclaim mid 60s
@DudeWhoInvests Quite the contrary.
Imagine a world where only big centralized entities control global payments, and where there is no decentralized, open alternative.
The way Saylor operates reminds me of infinite traders I've seen over the course of my career
They win by taking massively outsized bets with high conviction, double, triple quadruple down and no matter who tells them to slow down and tighten their system up they will never do it
And they usually get away with it for a while, sometimes even for a cycle or two
But no matter what happens their addiction to that risk that they're taking, their addiction to the highscore will inevitably always make them come crashing down
In my head if Saylor doesn't blow up this cycle because BTC bails him out he'll manage to do it next cycle
He'll normalize the risk he took with STRC and find a way to take on even more risk
His survival this time around will justify his behavior and make him think even higher of himself
Man just seems addicted to a highscore, the same way so many traders I know, and they've all blown up
Call me crazy, but I think parents should determine what their teenagers do online rather than the government.
And that governments shouldn't use system-level ID checks to identify and monitor everything.
PSA: I now consider *all* of DeFi unsafe.
Coding agents are superhuman at finding vulnerabilities, and smart contract security is too asymmetric: defenders need to fix every bug while attackers need just one exploit to steal funds.
