are Pokemon and One Piece cards in a bubble?
are crypto gacha platforms driving the parabolic price increase in graded cards?

71% of Waterloo's best engineers leave Canada (UWaterloo SE Class of 2022 graduate survey).
And nobody riots.
In any other country, a 71% talent export rate would be a national emergency. In Canada, it's Tuesday.
The problem isn't the people who leave. They're rational. The US pays 2-3x more, taxes less, and builds things that matter.
The problem is the people who stay and never ask why the system is designed to make leaving the rational choice.
Canada doesn't have a brain drain problem. It has a demand problem. Nobody demands better. Not from the universities. Not from the employers. Not from the government.
The best leave. The rest adjust. The cycle continues.
Every country gets the talent retention rate it deserves.
For years, I thought the Democratic Party was the party of peace and freedom.
I was wrong.
Leftists saw cheering and dancing Iranians, finally experiencing freedom for the first time…
…AND THEY PROTESTED IN FAVOR OF THE TYRANNICAL REGIME THAT OPPRESSED THEM
WHAT?!!!!!!
Scott Bessent discussing openly just a month ago how President Trump was going to collapse Iran's economy
"We will close off Iran's access to finance"
"I would get all my money out of the real now."
"F*ck ICE" is just the latest costume swap for "Free Palestine," "Defund the Police," "Hands Up, Don't Shoot," "Believe All Women," "I'm with Her," "No Blood for Oil," "I Can't Breathe," and "We Are the 99%."
The hashtag rotates, the outrage gets recycled, but it's always the same sanctimonious clowns, the same hysterical tantrums, the same useless street theater. New flavor of moral superiority every couple years, same cast of perpetual protesters, same zero actual results.
It's not activism. It's a lazy, taxpayer-and-foundation-funded lifestyle subscription for spoiled narcissists who want the cheap dopamine hit of feeling holier-than-thou without ever having to build a damn thing, solve a real problem, take responsibility, lead anyone, or produce one measurable win in the real world.
Same retards, different day.
the problem isn't capitalism, it's MMT
stonks go up because printer go brrr.
then people (who are already rich) get richer and think it's because of "muh investing GENIUS" when really they are riding the wave of $$ debasement
When they do QE, it's not for the middle class 🚨
Good morning.
To all the people worrying that the 'game is over', claiming that Bitcoin is now 'fully priced', insisting that 'it can't go much higher from here', I present the global investable asset universe (aka 'addressable market' for Bitcoin), courtesy of @Croesus_BTC.
Have a great day.
The big gobs of money in the world are speaking pretty loudly right now:
“The US market is safe and our money will be there. If UK and Europe want to support an ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia they can borrow from us to do so but they will have to pay for it via higher interest rates.”
This, more than anything else, may swiftly end the war. Simply, the UK and Europe cannot afford to borrow like this no matter their political philosophy.
Trump is the price the world pays to end wokeness. A man who is barely literate on economics, history surrounded by sycophants who enable him to gamble the world away.
It's a reckoning of sorts. You can't put America before the world because America is a part of the world.
So USAID is basically the continuation of Operation Mockingbird...
Every single journalist who received money from these programs should have their names published so we can make sure not to read anything they write ever again.
Then they should be criminally charged for propagandizing the American public.
