Centuries ago, in Feb 2020, @claudiorlandi, Ivan, and I were wodering if one could impose a communication policy without having a trusted party sanitizing messages. Seems impossible, right?

Turns out that sometimes seemingly-trivial questions can result in a SCN paper 🙂

...we can limit the bandwidth of the subliminal channel by adding public ciphertext verifiability 🤯

While this seems trivial, proving it requires a new def of obfuscation (somewhat equivalent to trusted hardware).

Can we do without it? No clue. Surely iO is not enough.

Ofc, the book only includes the basics of each subject: this is meant to help CS students that need all their maths in one place, well-explained, and with some funny exercises to keep them entertained while they read. And it includes an intro to crypto too 😍
