@JasontheLayman Oh. But you still haven’t prayed about it….Nice. 👍
Imagine your counter argument being, “It’s so obvious, I don’t need to pray about it.” Knowing Jesus told Peter that revelation was the rock upon which he would build his church, how do you justify not seeking it? 1st Cor 1:19
@DoBetter_@JasontheLayman It’s a promise to be able to receive “wisdom” about anything. Since his wisdom is “liberally” given out. It’s not limited to any subject matter.
Why debate me about whether it’s possible to receive revelation if you’re already convinced you can’t? Lol.
@DoBetter_@JasontheLayman Well, then you might as well toss out the Bible then too. Because it 100000% teaches that you can receive personal revelation.
I’m not sure what you’re lacking. But there are millions of us who receive revelation on a consistent basis. So I’m not really sure what to tell you.
@JasontheLayman This principle is clearly taught in 1st Corinthians 12:3.
Sadly, it’s a lack of humility on your part that keeps you stuck.
Your not willing to lay aside your own opinions and rely on personal revelation.
You lack the faith. You’re not hungry for more.
Good luck!
@JasontheLayman You are doing EXACTLY what the Pharisees did when Jesus Christ walked the earth. You teach for doctrine a form of Godliness, but deny the power thereof. You don’t seek, ask, or knock. You hold to YOUR opinion, not personal revelation through confirmation from God.
