When did the "flatten the curve to avoid overrunning the hospital system" turn into "we must eradicate the virus"? This switch-a-roo is going to utterly destroy so much of the fabric of our society. #coronavirus isn't the only issue we face. Embrace #totalharmminimization.
Now that bitcoin futures ETFs are live, the SEC has no valid justification for denying @Grayscale's spot ETF application. The Administrative Procedures Act demands approval. It's time.
Last night, @blockchainassn filed a letter in support of the spot ETF. Read our views here:
Today I issued a statement on the need for our School District to focus on reopening our public schools, not renaming them. To address inequities, we need to get our kids back in the classroom.
Please, please embrace total harm minimization. Let people make their own risk assessments. Stop nannying everyone. Your policies have shattered lives. End the lock down now!
The fact that we have to appear wokest, despite the risk to our overall population being damn close to zero is insane. There is no urgency to get restaurants or gym owners back in business. Lives are unravelling and there is NO end in sight and NO science to back it up.
Nowadays in San Francisco, we can't even gather on the beach (which has never been shown to be a major transmission vector). Nor are we allowed to be indoors with other people.
Dear @LondonBreed, What the fuck has happened to San Francisco? When I arrived in 2011, it was a place where people could be themselves and take chances. An open culture where there was no judgment for anyone's lifestyle.
@jkellyinsf@LondonBreed Awesome piece, Jim! I am flabbergasted that there hasn't been a stronger push to reopen the city. In this city, we have the demographics that would have allowed us to be fully open without jeopardizing or overrunning the healthcare system.
When I was a fat, sloppy feminist, people on social media told me all the time that I was beautiful and perfect just the way I am.
Ever since I lost all the weight & became a fit, healthy conservative, I regularly get called ugly, fugly, butterface, gross, “chink faced bitch” 🤷🏻♀️
If churches are essential, gyms are essential. We know that with this disease, hypertension, diabetes, obesity all make it worse. The gym is where you battle these diseases.
