Are robots taking over the world? Honestly… not really. What I see is humans learning how to work with them, and PrismaX is a big part of that.
What caught my attention first is teleoperation. You not just watching robots run scripts. You actually control them in real time. Every movement, hesitation, correction - all of it becomes training data. The AI learns from how real people behave, not just from simulations.
And that changes the quality of learning. Most AI systems train in controlled environments. PrismaX learns from messy reality - human decisions, imperfect timing, small mistakes. That kind of data is harder to get, but way more useful.
There’s also an interesting feedback loop forming. More people operate robots → more real-world data → robots get better → people can do more with them. It’s simple, but you can feel the momentum building once it starts.
What I personally like most is the control layer. This isn’t “let the machines figure everything out.” Humans stay involved. We guide what happens, we correct it, we shape how the system evolves.
So no, robots aren’t taking over. If anything, we teaching them - slowly, imperfectly, and very deliberately. That’s what makes PrismaX worth watching.

The industry has raised almost $14 billion in funding. But the hardware part has hardly changed in 8 months since IROS. The main focus of 2026 is commercial deployment of existing platforms. Reliability is now in first place: the robot must work thousands of times in real conditions. More attention to data vendors and data pipeline. The biggest winner is Universal Robots. Chinese companies are already spending less on exhibition marketing.
