I am at 21 crypto years.

bitcoin was launched by satoshi about 14 years ago. 14 * 7 would make him 98 in crypto years. that sounds about right

[Ben DiFrancesco @BenDiFrancesco]

Had a similar mental flippening a couple years ago when it really set in that my crypto assets were under my control in a way my bank balance wasn't. Money in the bank feels inherently less tangible than assets on chain to me now.

Unlike most people on Twitter, I’m actually using GPT3 in a production system. The mistake people are making is they are asking “how can I use this to automate a smart person’s job”, when they should be asking “what would I do if I had unlimited dumb people”

I thought a crypto exchange was about to collapse the other night. I have one of their Visa cards and the only way to get funds off the card is to spend them. So I panic bought $5,000 worth of 25-year shelf life survival food. It’s been a week and the exchange is still up.

Most USA common "historical" myths preserved as canon in Hollywood and exported globally are just intergenerational propaganda.

I couldn't get these pictures out of my mind so I had to turn them into a meme:

This whole ChatGPT tweet explosion feels a lot like when Covid started to hit in China, which is when twitter was at its best @elonmusk Citizens leading the way in letting us all know something insanely novel is coming, WAY ahead on traditional institutions

1/ The AUKUS headspace is brimming with a new political battle.
Left-leaning NPCs who got into got jobs due to university certificates and connections are anti AI. "it's just unimaginative"
Non-NPCs (many outside of the overton window) are pro-AI and decidedly marveling at it.

2/ Unlike other politically charged squabbles (like being pro gaming or pro exercise, et al) this one could mean the consolidation of power of the pro-AI camp in such a profoundly historical way that it will be look as the waterloo of the establishment hacks.

OpenAi's bot will aid in the production of original content in such a fast pace that days will look like years.
It can feel overwhelming, but if you forecast into the last consequence you can see that soon enough we will have so many million substacks that only few will be read.

[Igor Zalutski @IgorZIJ]

@paulg Oh my. It's a perfectly capable "debate machine". I put in PG's "startup == growth" essay, then asked to make a case for it, then asked to make a case against it. Got strong cases both ways. This is an intellectual nuke.

ChatGPT is Hiroshima 2.0.

The first a nuclear physical bomb changing society and geopolitical game theoretical calculations forever.
The second an abstract knowledge bomb that has open the gates to a new society in which innovation will move at breakneck speed.

Lots of big minds just spent the weekend with GPT & realized the data sitting behind big tech silos is a huge moat that’s going to make it difficult for startups to compete.
The only alternative is for there to be an open market for data models where the metadata of that data /

If you think about it. You can have a circular economy that is stable, private and works.
Or you can numbagoup, fiat on-off ramps, KYC panopticon & boom and boost cycles.
But you cannot have both (at least for the same coin).
Bitcoin maxis seem numbagoup-ists, so that settles it.

@rlntlss_robles Hillary Clinton and many other angloricans will be there for sure, not just as spectators, but as some of the driving forces behind it all.

[cryptolohy 🇲🇽 @cryptolohy]

Some months ago I saw a tweet from someone in the USA in which he said that he unironically expected Mount Rushmore to be demolished, Taliban style.
I agreed then, but I agree even more now. Angloricans will be pushed aside by their own offspring, who are more left-leaning.

@Nolz2010 @GunhackA @Partisan_O Such founder-philosopher will synthetize issues that people in the USA truly face & break (at the base layer, the ideas) from the GOP.
Perhaps a comprehensive no-wars political position?
Perhaps a new hospital system that works?
Perhaps rejecting some constitutional amendment?

[cryptolohy 🇲🇽 @cryptolohy]

@Nolz2010 @GunhackA @Partisan_O You cannot create a third party if you don't have third party philosophies.
If your mindset is just GOP-but-not-cowardly. Then no 3rd party is needed/useful.
A third party would actually think differently, have different positions, etc
A founder-philosopher is needed.
