The proposal to upgrade Sei to v6.7. is now live.
v6.7 sets up the future migration of EVM state from memIAVL to FlatKV.
It also continues SIP-3 by removing IBC core, IBC transfer, and other legacy CosmWasm elements from the chain.

In July, SEC Commissioner Peirce invited innovators and entrepreneurs bringing asset management onchain through vault protocols to help write new rules and guidance for vault protocols.
As the developer of the Nest protocol powering Plume Vaults, we took the opportunity to provide advice to the Commission as it considers policymaking regarding onchain vaults.
We believe vaults will play a critical role in open finance, and the SEC can unlock a new era of onchain capital formation with the right regulatory architecture.
We thank the SEC for the opportunity to provide input at our meeting on September 22.

$SEI is priced like the project has already been pronounced dead.
That’s what makes this chart interesting.
The entire move down has compressed price into the floor, while every major historical reaction sits far above:
$0.38 → first target
$0.73 → second target
$1.14 → third target
And the full expansion shown here points toward $1.50.
From the bottom, that’s roughly +3,300%.
The funny part?
If $SEI ever trades at $1+ again, everyone will suddenly explain why it was “obvious.”
At $0.04, nobody wants to hear it.
A chain is only as fast as the database it writes to.
Eidos is the storage track of the Giga upgrade. It will completely rebuild how Sei stores state and history while the chain keeps producing blocks.
The first phase is live on mainnet now.
